Amani Complex International is a mission-based education center located in Kenya. The driving force of this organization is reaching out to children who have been and are vulnerable to human trafficking. ACI empowers children to leave their past of pain and trauma and enter into a future filled with hope.
My intent for this project was to capture both the African aesthetic and the playful hope that the children now experience at ACI. Each motif in the African styled pattern shown on each page represent ACI’s four areas of focus: Education, Health, Justice, and Socio-Economic Empowerment.
